I'm planning on ripping siparser out of the scanner soon, so I'm marking this as wontfix. There are several other known problems with using siparser for the scanning and it makes the scanner much more complicated than it needs to be.

The defines are already in place to disable siparser once 0.19 is out, I just don't want to make the change now as it would be too disruptive.
