Most of the time EIT program descriptions are for a program that aired one to two hours previously on the same channel. However, sometimes the program description is for a show in another channel (i.e the description is for a show on ch 7.1, but the show being recorded in on ch 23.3).

Confirmed issue is not:

fault of the broadcaster, by switching to TV and looking at it's guide.

not signal strength or channel drop-out. 

This issue has been going on for almost three years now and needs to be address.

If there are any log files I can provide you to further isolate the issue and get it corrected please let me know.
