This appears to be due to broadcaster changes to mheg (red button) services for Wimbledon Tennis. I have seen this on mythfrontend 29,30 and current master on Xubuntu 18.04 and Raspberry pi3/4 Buster. This problem has also been observed by a number of people see https://forum.mythtv.org/viewtopic.php?f=36&t=3236

A temporary workround is to change Enable interactive TV in mythfrontend:
Mythfrontend Setup>Video>Playback OSD and uncheck Enable interactive TV
