Description
Attached trivial patch fixes a few typos where "exists" was spelled "exits" in log messages and comments.

Close comment may have been misleading, but I just checked, and everything _seems_ to make sense now as far as exists / exits is concerned. Leaving closed for now.

(In [16238]) Undo changes from ticket 4753; the code is checking for "does this exist", meaning, is it present, so "exists" is accurate.
