select() timeout using HVR1600

Description

Using an HVR1600 card the select() is timing out causing sputtering and dropped video/audio. The attach patch is a workaround which avoids the select() until the cx18 driver works similar to ivtv.

Enough progress has been made to the cx18 driver that this workaround is no longer necessary.
