Version 17639 frontend seg faults on me.

I've done a make clean && make distclean and compiled again from fresh and it still does it.
I've tried a different Theme, still does it.  (I tried this because it happens just after the pre-scaling finishes)

The backend seems unaffected.

This is on an Ubuntu Hardy 64 bit box dual core system if that makes
any difference.

Attached is a back trace, I think.  I've read the Ticket HowTo and I'm pretty sure this is correct.
