Description

Equivalent to #6672

  • update libhdhomerun to the 20090806 release
  • replace hdhomerun control api with the newer hdhomerun device api
  • fix signal strength parsing (was broken for TECH hdhomeruns)

libhdhomerun was seemingly updated in [21459]. The other two patches are still outstanding

Nigel, I didn't have time to look at "hdhr-cleanup.patch" before the cut-off. If something in there is actually a fix for #6828, perhaps that bit of it can still be applied in time for 0.22?

It needs to be applied; fixes the reconnection bug you erroneously marked as [21478].

(In [21481]) Refs #6881. Revert [21478], doesn't actually fix reconnect issue. We can sort through these for 0.23.
