I suspect she hit pause or stop.  Rehitting those buttons resulted in no change.  <ESC> on the keyboard was equally unresponsive.

Attached with gdb and got the attached backtrace.  When I exited gdb, it un-crowbar'ed the frontend and music started playing again.
