I have upgraded to 24903 and, as with the other poster, the problem still exists. I will also provide a log listing with -v audio. What may be of additional interest is that when I disable upmixing to 5.1 I get no audio whatsoever. My audio configuration is a Sound Blaster Live 24 USB audio device. In Setup/General/Audio the device is set to ""ALSA:iec958:CARD=External,DEV=0"". Previously I had been using ""ALSA:plughw:1,0"". Typing this in provides the same results as using iec958 from the picklist. The log file has several start and stops for playing the mp3.
