Description
Using VAAPI with a Sandy Bridge 2600K hangs within a second. Running Ubuntu 12.04 and all latest libva, liba-intel-driver.
I have been testing with the special versioned mplayer which works fine as can be found in: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=51061
Problem has been reported by various people. Although some claim they have a working setup. Please update the ffmpeg library to a newer version.

You should upgrade to 0.26 and then refile if this is still a problem.
