Auto shut down not working, scheduler.cpp dead or inactive ?

This is on an arch linux system, separate backend and remote frontend.

Scenario 1:

• Boot backend
• do nothing else (e.g. start remote frontend or mythfrontend on the backend)
• automatic shutdown works

Scenario 2:

• boot backend
• start local or remote frontend
• shut down frontend
• automatic shut down does not occur

However this can be influenced by: restarting the backend service scheduling a new recording from the frontend Following either of the above in scenario 2 and automatic shutdown works again.

Is this scheduler.cpp related ? Is scheduler.cpp dead or inactive until a new recording is scheduled ?
