Description
Hi,
i installed mythtv when i tried to watch tv i got segmentation violation from mythforeground i am attaching the forground log as well as the background log.
my OS ubuntu 12.04 LTS

MythTV is doing tons of stuff in the background, which makes it tough to diagnose a fault on logs alone. Please follow the following directions to produce a backtrace.

OK.
i recompiled mythtv with debugger as you said please see attached logs.
B.T.W i can see TV (DVBT) perfectly using VLC.

I fixed a similar error on Debian 7.1 by installing libavcodec and recompiling.

I'm fairly certain this is fixed in 0.27....

mythtv uses its own ffmpeg copy and do not rely on external libraries to decode
