Description

hi there. i am from the uk and i am testing mythtv at the moment to replace my existing windows media center using a nova t 500 pci card. currently when i record say bbc 1 all channels disappear except the bbc channels if i want to watch another side at the same time. this wasn't the case in windows media center. am i doing something wrong or is it a bug. please can you help. thanks

Perhaps you'll find something on this page, although the link that I followed was dead. It isn't a myth bug, and you should seek help on the mythtv users list.

Mythtvsetup should be able to find TWO cards. Did you set them both up?

hi there. thanks. i didn't realise i had to setup 2 capture cards from 1 device in the backend. works great. how many channels can i record at once and watch etc with a dual tuner.

Myth has a default max of 5 per tuner and that's what I set. Disks and cpu might impose other limits. But this is user list - or forum - stuff.
