The usage has been changed. Space and enter can now be assigned to other functions using edit keys. Existing front ends should have continued to work with those keys, but on new front ends you need to go into Edit Keys and assign then space or enter key to either "toggle bookmark" or "set bookmark" depending on your requirements.

mythfrontend space/enter not setting bookmark when watching recording

How reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. mythfrontend
  2. pick a recording
  3. hit Enter and note no action taken
  4. hit Space bar and note recording is paused instead of setting bookmark
