Unable to 'watch' Digital Music channels with HDHomeRun

Description

My Digital Cable service is generally fine with HDHomeRun but I have approx 50 channels in one QAM block which are digital music channels. VLC will display/play the channels fine (the video is very low framerate rotating graphics) however Myth fails to display a correct image and eventually gives up on trying to watch live TV.

This is with SVN 11776 and HDHomeRun firmware 20061110. Frontend and backend logs (-verbose all,nodatabase) are attached.

Feature request without patch.

Music channels are not supported for anything other than Standards compliant DVB streams in MythTV.
