Description

currently if you select the program guide while watching a recording , it pauses the recording and shows you the guide.

the attached patch, keeps the recording visible and playing, just like it does for Live TV.

If you reach the end of the recording and you are in the program guide, the recording is paused. This allows you to finish doing whatever you were doing, then when you hit escape you have the option to quit the recording or rewind to an earlier spot (if the end of the recording prompt is enabled)

if or when i commit this..it will be optional, and will not be the default setting.
