Description
It would be nice to be able to resize the video playback window while watching a video when using MythTV in "application mode".

The feature request was rejected 3 years ago.
Can I reopen this request? I think, resizing the video playback window would still be a nice feature.

Feature requests are not accepted on Trac. You can re-open it if you have a patch supporting the feature to attach to the ticket.

(In [16893]) Refs #5107. Refs #2514. Preliminary support for video playback window resizing.
Mostly committing this now so I can use the new monitor dimension variables to handle #2514 properly.
This is disabled by default. If you want to try it, run mythfrontend with "-O UseFixedWindowSize=0".
This does not do the right thing if you enter the EPG and may not play well with display resolution switching based on video dimensions.
