Description

Some extra features (mmap io, enhanced device selection, ...), less cruft (perhaps just different cruft), more robust, and hopefully more maintainable. As is, it's not bad, but there's a couple of aspects I still consider experimental.

audiooutputalsa has been greatly modified since this ticket was opened, and will be even more so modified in the short term future.

Will never use that patch.. Way to big anyway
