Description
Instead of copying capture cards explicitly in the database, create multiple copies in mythbackend depending on the value simultaneous_recordings column during init.
This will make the distinction of real/'virtual' tuners universally know in mythtv and allows to hide 'virtual' recorders easily from the UI, scheduling simultaneous recordings from one multiplex always on the same real capture card.

As you should know by now, all discussion of features should go on the mailing lists - Not cluttering up Trac. This is a task ticket for one of the developers to look at the specific issue in the description.
Please discuss on the mailing list, not here - This is incidentally why tickets are locked as often as they are.

Closing this one since no one seems interested in picking it up.
As some of you know, I've been bitching about #4989 for quite a long time now.
Are you planning on changing anything to the LiveTV tuning? (Recap: LiveTV currently doesn't care if a virtual tuner is locked to a multiplex when the virtual tuner isn't bussy)
