Description

The patch in this ticket gives a more pleasent playback of analog VBI Teletext/Closed Captions while also slightly increasing the value of the texts by making it easy to create subtitles of shows and movies that will play on a wide range of DVD players and the like (and of course in Mplayer). The subtitles generated has been tested on the Medion MD7453 DVD Player with modified firmware and works great.

Sample output with patch (pardon the danish): 

00:00:11,600 - Godaften og velkommen
00:00:11,600 - til "Hit med sangen".
00:00:14,600 - Vi får besög af Bobo Moreno,
00:00:14,600 - en meget alsidig sanger:
00:00:19,280 - Pop, rock, jazz, blues,
00:00:19,280 - you name it.

Contraindications: None. It's very simple and have been modulo tested with odd frame rates :)
