Description
Using a Fusion DViCO Dual Digital 4 with it's remote (revision 2). All controls on the remote are ignored during playback of AVI files. Works fine with .mkv and TV recorded programs.

You are playing your AVI files back with mplayer or another external player, and have not set it up for LIRC. Check which player you have bound to the avi extension in video settings.
