nuvexport version: 0.5 0.20090726.svn ffmpeg version 0.5_p20373

Error reported is:: ffmpeg had critical errors:

Error while opening encoder for output stream #0.1 - maybe incorrect parameters such as bit_rate, rate, width or height

I have a fix for this awaiting confirmation.

Since our broadcast standard here in NZ is H264 then actually seeing the (potential) fix will allow more testing. There are some 6-7 people discussing exactly this problem (changing format with a cutlist) on the local mailing list at the moment.

(In [25429]) Updates to most of the nuvexport exporters.

Tested to work fine on ubuntu 10.04, using mencoder and libavcodec-extra-52 from medibuntu repos.
