Output Device: ALSA:default Mixer: ALSA:default

tried various other output devices present and no audio is produced.

Seen by a number of other devs who hang out in IRC

In r24855. Change the inability to open the audio mixer when setting the volume to a warning rather than an error.

Temporary work around until we can identify the real underlying problem.

Fixed in r24856 ; ignore channels not controlled by the mixer.

The error reported was that myth was trying to change the right channels for the Master mixer, the Master mixer only controls one channel only..

This is an issue introduced in the original code r4668, been there for a while !
