Description
I have a MCE usb remote to control mythfrontend. When cold booting the system the usb device is often not recognized. So I have to unplug and then plug it in again so it gets recognized. This generally works ok. But when doing that twice while mythfrontend is running, i.e. the remote is already correctly recognized, the whole system will hard lock without a chance to ssh or ping the system. When mythfrontend is not running, I can unplug and replug the usb remote as often as I want without problems. It would be great if mythfrontend would handle the unplugging of the remote more gracefully (without triggering a hard lock). I don't know how I can provide more info/logs as the system is not accessible anymore when it happens.

A hard lock like that can only be a kernel or driver bug. It's not the fault of mythfrontend.
