OSD and all controls unavailable when viewing currently recording program via LiveTV

When switching to LiveTV and all tuners are busy, the user is prompted to view a program that is currently recording. After selecting a program that is currently recording from the list, all keyboard commands and the OSD appear to be non-functioning during playback (including escape to the main menu).

However, when selecting the same currently recording program via Previous Recordings, the controls and OSD work correctly during playback.

Can you please attach the complete output of mythfrontend -v playback from a situation in which the controls no longer work.

Update on this item: It appears that the phenomena might be window-focus related. When starting playback of a recording that is currently recording via 'Live Tv' and the fullscreen playback UI is initially non-responsive, switching to another window and then back to Mythfrontend restores the functionality of the playback controls.

This appears to be reproducible with metacity, compiz, and netbook-launcher-efl.

Can you confirm whether this is still an issue? I've never been able to reproduce it and have seen no other similar reports. There have also been numerous, possibly related, changes to playback initialisation in master and 0.24.

No response in six weeks, and behavior is not reproducible. Ticket remains unlocked, so reporter can re-open the ticket if they still experience the issue on a current version of MythTV.
