Description
When playing back Lord of the Rings special extended edition disk 1, the very first screen which shows couple of country flags, has no selection rectangle visible.
Using enter (blindly) works and DVD can be watched. Playback log from the disk playback start until this screen is attached.

Otto - the second issue regarding some initial extra video playback should now be fixed in master. Can you confirm?

Yes, the extra video playback issue is now fixed.
I've attached a fresh -v playback log from the playback startup until the language selection screen where the selection is not visible.

I've attached second log from the LOTR SEE disk 2, which first shows some frames of the movie (maybe 0.5-1 second) and only then shows the language selection screen. This time the selection is visible and works okay.
The movie being played before the selection screen is another cosmetic issue which could be fixed (if possible).
