Overlay over playback after returning from OSD menu

Description

I'm not sure if this is a theme specific issue but this happens with the Mythbuntu theme. When I open the OSD menu during playback, e.g. to take a look at the EPG or edit the rule of the recording that I'm current watching, and then get back to the playback, there is some "hazy" overlay over the video that I can only get rid of when leaving the playback. Screenshot failed, frontend crashes when trying to make one :(

Status: new → closed

If this happens in 0.25 or master, please reopen the ticket. Enough has changed in 16 months that it is likely to have been fixed in the meantime.

This indeed doesn't happen anymore. But issue #7627 is still happening when toggling EPG during playback, can anyone please re-open this? I hate to create duplicate tickets.
