Description

Location: USA, off the air via antenna

Most of the time EIT program descriptions are for a program that aired one to two hours previously on the same channel. However, sometimes the program description is for a show in another channel (i.e the description is for a show on ch 7.1, but the show being recorded in on ch 23.3).

History of versions with this issue:

Mythbuntu/MythTV .25.x

Mythbuntu/MythTV .26.x

Debain/Wheezy/MythTV .27.x, sourced from deb-multimedia

Debian/Jessie/MythTV .27.5 (ad97d24 ), sourced from deb-multimedia

Confirmed issue is not:

fault of the broadcaster, by switching to TV and looking at it's guide.

not signal strength or channel drop-out.

This issue has been going on for almost three years now and needs to be address.

If there are any log files I can provide you to further isolate the issue and get it corrected please let me know.

Likely a duplicate of #11739 and #12491 and fixed in master. But the fixes have not yet made it to fixes/0.27

Status: new → closed

This is a duplicate of ticket #13455. The problem described here is fixed in today's pre-31 master until proven otherwise. This ticket is now closed, but if there is still a problem please report this in ticket #13455 or re-open this ticket.
